The time delay puts an incremental delay on the delivery of an interactive message and is ONLY available on INTERACTIVE messages. For example, you may wish to send a message one day after someone opts in. If this is the case, simply add a 1 day delay to your interactive message.
Step 1.
Check mark the box to activate Time Delay within the Advanced Message Options menu.
Step 2.
Select a Delay Increment.
Step 3.
Select a Delay Amount.
Step 4.
OPTIONAL - Use the Smart Filter drop down menu to select additional delivery parameters.
Note: The Smart Filter is there to help prevent your system from sending messages at an unreasonable time of day. When selecting a smart filter, consider how your chosen delay increment and delay amount will deliver messages to early and late opt-ins.
