Manage Employees in KCM

1. Click the Manage Staff tab at the top to create and manage employee PINS for KCM.

2. Use the drop-down menu in 'Secure PIN Length' section to select a pin length between 4, 5 or 6 digits. Each employee/user profile must contain the same Pin Length.

Note: Every newly created KCM is activated with a Default User & PIN. To change Pin Lengths to something other than 6 Digits, you must first delete the default user.

3. Enter a Name and PIN in the 'Add New Employee' fields and click 'Add' to save your entry.

4. Repeat steps 1 & 2 as needed to create a Staff Profile for every employee that will have access to KCM. 

 Note: Unless specified, all users will be able to add/remove check-ins, edit contact profiles, and delete coupons. 

 5. To edit employee settings click the edit icon in the 'Settings' column.

6. Enter a new Employee Name in the corresponding field and/or check the boxes you need to restrict Staff profile. 

 

Here's the list of restrictions you can apply to individual employee accounts

- Restrict the ability to edit points - Prevents a user from changing a contact's points.

- Restrict the number of points per customer - Limits the number of points a user can provide per contact over a set number of days.

- Restrict the ability to edit customer information - Prevents a user from changing contact's profile information.

- Restrict from un-redeeming and deleting coupons - Prevents a user from un-redeeming and deleting coupons. 

Note: This option should be allowed for admin and management user profiles only.

7. Click 'Update' to save the changes. 

8. Repeat steps 1 - 3 as needed to edit user profiles for every employee that will have access to KCM. 

9. (optional) Click 'Employee Report' on KCM toolbar to see the activity generated by each Employee/User. Employee Report will display the number of Check-Ins, New Customers, and Rewards generated by each user within the date range specified.

Use this report and the Check-In Manager Activity & Ranking reports to create incentive programs and in-house competitions that drive activity and increase the size of your database! 


Note: Access to the Employee Tracking Report is determined by the KCM Set-Up.
